Collaborative Psychiatry and Internal Medicine in Colorado Springs

I came to Rivendell after my previous psychiatrist was no longer taking my insurance, and in all honesty, I wish I would have changed sooner. Dr. James is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and truly cares about getting you back to feeling better again. I've been so impressed with how I've been treated that I even decided to change my primary care provider to Dr. Fry, who is also very knowledgeable and kind. Everyone who works there is very kind, knowledgeable and personable. I'm so grateful that I was able to find a practice with such great people who care, and know how to help patients feel welcome. Everyone here is simply the best, I highly recommend Rivendell Health!

Dr. Fry and Dr. James are amazing. The whole staff is great. The environment is comfortable and they listen at all of your concerns. I highly recommend!

I am very thankful I found this practice, and would rate 6 stars if able. From the moment you call or walk in, you can tell this practice is different. Dr. Fry takes the time to truly listen, never making you feel rushed, and always explains things in a way that makes sense. He is extremely helpful, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about your health and well-being. You never feel like “just another patient” — you feel heard and supported.

I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Every single one of the staff is amazing and our whole family has felt cared for from the very first phone call. Reba and Kayla at the front desk are so kind and helpful and both Dr. James and Dr. Fry listen and never make you feel rushed. I have nothing but positive things to say about everyone here. It really feels like they all genuinely care about their patients. I’m so thankful we found this place!

As a mental health professional finding quality referrals is a struggle. Everyone at Rivendell Health goes above and beyond. My personal experience with them has provided more support than was expected. You can tell everyone actually cares about who you are and genuinely wants to support you. You will feel welcome from the moment you first talk to Kayla or Reba. You’ll find both Dr. Fry and Dr. James are warm and easy to talk to. You won’t feel the typical “doctor talk” you may have experienced other places. They are my number one referral and I cannot recommend them enough!
